An On-line Petition to Generate a Million Signatures in Favor of the Campaign to Amend the 1987 Philippine Constitution in Support of the GPH-MILF Peace Talks

In the name of peace, in the interest of justice and genuine reconciliation in Mindanao and in the pursuit of sustainable development for the entire country, we the undersigned peace loving Filipino people and friends of Mindanao and the Philippines, do hereby convey upon our political leaders, especially our President, Senators and Members of Congress, our unequivocal support, acquiescence and consent for the amendment of the constitution in order to bring about a just and viable political solution in Mindanao through this:

Launching of the 1 Million Signature Campaign for a Bangsamoro Substate

The CHANGE for Peace in Mindanao Movement simultaneously launched in the cities of Cotabato and Davao on October 25, 2011 its 1 Million Signature Campaign for a Bangsamoro Substate .

The campaign aims to gather 1 million signatures by December this year in order to establish the strongest ground support to finally push for the reform of the 1987 Philippine Constitution to accommodate the legitimate aspirations of the Bangsamoro people for self-determination through the creation of a Bangsamoro Substate.
